On the 5th August, it was announced that The Nam Shadow, by Carole Brungar, was a finalist in the military category at the 2019 American Fiction Awards.
The Nam Shadow explores how Frankie and Terry survive dealing with the extreme fear and intense emotions that come with the war in Vietnam. Sometimes, taking chances is the only way to stay alive, but as Vietnam eats away at them both from the inside out, can Terry and Frankie outrun the shadow?
