The South Seas is Photo CPL Media’s most popular title.

First published in late 2012 the book was an immediate hit with Kiwi and visiting surfers. It is regarded as the best New Zealand surf book made to date. It sold out and was reprinted in late 2014. The reprint sold out early 2016. 

Rather than do a second reprint we wanted to improve and update the content. We’ve added a further 16 page colour section, [from 208 pages to 224 pages]. The photo edit has been completely overhauled and updated. The classics remain, but we have been able to increase regional diversity and depth. We’ve made a better book.
